Silky Bigboy 2000 Outback 360mm Curve Saw

Silky Saw BIGBOY folding saw is a sturdy and premium quality folding saw designed for heavy-duty outdoor use. The saw has Silky’s MIRAI-ME technology that enables fast, smooth cutting on both green and dry wood, as well as bone. 

The blade has a nickel and tin blend black coating, ensuring corrosion resistance and providing durability. The arbour composite handle ensures a secure grip even in climatically challenging conditions. Compact and lightweight at around 478 grams, the saw folds down to just over 40cm, making it ideal for bushcraft, camping, trail clearing, and hunting. The BigBoy Outback balances cutting efficiency with portability, backed by Silky’s reputation for quality and reliability.

The Silky Bigboy 2000 Curved Folding Saw is based on the standard Silky model but with additional Outback features for particular outdoor purposes. Comes with its own Nylon sheath carrying case. 

How to use a Silky Saw correctly:

• Silky Saws use a pull stroke action to cut
• If your Silky Saw every gets caught on a branch NEVER PUSH and NEVER WRENCH THE HANDLE
• Instead, lift the weight of the blade to release the saw
• You do not have to saw fast or use strength to saw with a Silky, simply pull/glide it across the wood
• Do not sharpen your Silky Outback Edition saw with a hand file. Impulse hardened teeth are not easily sharpened (TIP: If the tips of your Silky Saw are dark and look a little grey then they have been hardened, which is the case for the Outback Edition)
