TOPS Tahoma Field Knife Black Canvas Micarta

The Tops Tahoma Field Knife with a Black Canvas Micarta handle is the ideal tool for any outdoor adventure or task. The designer, Andy Tran made this knife with the intention of being lightweight and comfortable for use all day. The tip is double edged meaning in the event that your primary blade gets dull you can use the 2.75” back blade to make cuts. The notch on the back of the blade is used to break wire by hardworking it, pulling pots off an open fire and to score materials down to make a weak point to break. On the knife there are two available spots for a lanyard, one located just in-front the thumb ramp which is popular in cutting contests and when lashing the knife to the end of a stick. The second lanyard is positioned at the bottom of the handle out of the way of the pry bar. The finger choil lets you choke up the knife to do fine carving or notching tasks.

The handle can be held like a machete and also closely to the blade to perform tasks such as chopping, fine carving and notching. There are two spindle sockets, one on either side of the handle making it safe to bowdrill right or left handed enusring the blade is facing away from you. The Pry bar on the bottom of the handle is shaped and positioned so that if given a backseat grip on the knife during chopping, it would not cut, or wear into your hand.
