The Firebox Stove Gen2 Stainless 3" Nano X-Case Kit is a compact and portable stove designed for outdoor cooking enthusiasts. Made from durable stainless steel, this stove is versatile and multi-fuel compatible, allowing you to use various fuels like wood, alcohol, gel, or gas. Its hinged construction requires no assembly, making it convenient for quick setup during camping or backpacking trips.
The components of the kit include:
- 3" G2 Firebox Nano Stove (Stainless Steel): A compact, foldable stove with hinged construction, eliminating the need for assembly.
- X-Case: A multi-functional case that serves as a protective cover, stabiliser on uneven terrain, and ash pan.
- Nano Sticks: Two stainless steel rods that can be positioned to support various cookware sizes or to hold alcohol burners like the Trangia.
- L-Pins: Used to secure the Carbon Felt in place, creating an effective windscreen when combined with the X-Case.
- Carbon Felt Pad: Acts as a wind block, enhancing stove performance in breezy conditions.
- White Canvas Storage Bag: A cloth bag designed to store the stove and accessories, preventing soot and debris from contaminating other gear.

(3") 76mm G2 Nano Vs (5") 127mm G2 Firebox
The 5" Firebox has a larger deeper burn chamber, more BTU output & can hold more hot coals which means high cooking performance. The Nano maintains all the same amazing versatility and capability but in a much smaller, simpler form factor. Think of it as a minimalist version of the higher horse powered 127mm Firebox Stove. You can do all the same things, you'll just need to pay closer attention to fuel management with the Nano.
Titanium VS Stainless Steel
SS is the heavy duty option, basically bomb proof. If you like big over the top fires, long into the night then stainless steel is the way to go. All alloys of SS lose corrosion resistance through wood fire temps. Maintain corrosion resistance easily with a light coat of oil between uses. Titanium is 40% lighter (so is basically half the weight), corrosion proof and cools down fast. If you're carrying your gear on your back and are focused on cooking you'll be glad to have a 127mm (5") Ti Stove (panel adjustments may be needed, easily done by hand). The 76mm (3") Nano's less overall heat potential means it doesn't need much, if any, of the above mentioned maintenance (applies to both Ti & SS).
