Guide on using Firebox for outdoor cooking
This guide covers a start-to-finish process of outdoor cooking with the Firebox Stove. The user is advised to practice beforehand to be efficient at fire management and cooking success.
- Setup: Simply unfold, place it on a stable surface, and add your chosen fuel (note: For accessories like the side grill assembly, simply attach it to the stove's side brackets or slots, ensuring a secure fit. Some models may need minor adjustments or additional hardware. Refer to the product manual for details on compatibility and assembly.)
- Fuel Usage: Use twigs, small branches, charcoal, gel fuels, or alcohol burners. Feed fuel through side ports for continuous burning.
- Starting a Fire: Place kindling and small dry sticks on the fire grate inside. Light carefully using matches or a fire starter.
- Cooking: Place your pot or pan securely on top of the stove. Depending on your Firebox stove model, you can place different sizes of cookware; for example, with the Firebox Stove 5" G2 Stainless Steel Folding Stove, you can confidently place a Dutch oven for preparing a group meal.
- Fire Management: Add fuel as necessary before the fire burns out.
- Boiling Water: Boils approximately 2 cups of water in 2.5 minutes, depending on conditions.
- Safety: Only use in an open, ventilated area, free of flammable material. Surfaces get very hot; use heat-resistant gloves.
