Note: The Manufacturer warranties the ration packs for 24 months from Pack Date, every Hungerbuster has this date stamped on the outside of the packaging. There are number of different individual components included which the respective manufacturers give a 3 year best before to – such as main meals, steak bars and mashed potato – and others are given a 2 year best before. All components have been tested beyond 2 years and there is minimal physical change and NO food safety issues for any of the components used beyond this time. It is impossible to assemble a ration pack with the same best by date on all components. The important thing to note is that there will be no food safety issues on any of the components.

FOOD ALLERGIES
This ration pack does not cater for consumers with any food allergy or special dietary requirements. You should read the Menu and Ingredients (see PDF below) before consumption. If you have any doubts about the contents, you should not consume the ration pack.
Cooking instructions:
You can eat the food cold but we recommend hot for maximum enjoyment.
- Place meal pouch in boiling water for about 6 Minutes
- Place meal pouch out of the water then pull open the bottom gusset so the pouch can stand
- Tear the top of the pouch open at the indent mark provided; enjoy!

Other ways of heating the pouch are to leave the retort meal in the direct sun for 20 minutes or keep the pouch close to your body during activity.
All main meal pouches are Halal Suitable and have been manufactured in a plant that is certified by the New Zealand Islamic Development Trust.
