Spyderco ARK FRN Black Knife

The ARK (Always Ready Knife™) is a specialised fixed blade knife designed by U.S. Army combat veteran John Shirley and his friend Sam Owens. Drawing from Shirley’s knowledge of Japanese martial arts and Owens’ craftsmanship, they created the ARK to be a lightweight, always-accessible self-defence tool.

The ARK features a deeply curved clip-point blade crafted from H-2 steel, known for its excellent corrosion resistance. The hollow grind on the blade provides impressive cutting power, while the clip-point ensures a strong, sharp tip. The handle is crafted from fibreglass-reinforced nylon (FRN), moulded directly onto the tang. It features Spyderco’s Bi-Directional Texturing and an index-finger groove for a secure grip, in all conditions.

For versatile carry options, the ARK includes an injection-moulded polymer sheath with a breakaway ball chain, allowing for convenient neck carry. Remarkably lightweight, the ARK and its sheath together weigh only 57 grams making it easy to carry anywhere, ensuring you're always ready.
