Silky Nata Hatchet Axe

The Silky Nata hatchet axe is a hybrid full-tang chopping tool, functioning between a knife and an axe. Made from the  SKS-51 (JIS) steel, ideal for bushcraft, pruning, and general outdoor use. 

It features a black oxide-coated blade for added durability and reduced glare. The ergonomic rubberised handle ensures a secure, stable grip that absorbs shock during use. The Silky Nata has a forward-weighted blade, allowing powerful, precise chopping in a compact form, making it a perfect tool for clearing brush, splitting kindling, and survival tasks.

The Silky NATA has been conceived in two versions :

1. Single ground (sharpened on one side only), for chopping off small branches, debarking trees and layering hedges.
2. Double ground (sharpened on both sides), for splitting wood.

Tip: The blade must be kept clean to maintain its efficiency. Cleaning your hatchet axe blade with olive oil is an effective and environmentally friendly way to maintain the Silky Nata blade, since olive oil will break down and dissolve resin.
