Incorporated with a two-stage filtration process, the LifeStraw Go 2-Stage Filtration Water helps obtain safe drinking water from anywhere one might need it. The bottle is a leak-proof, BPA-free water bottle that is a practical choice for camping, hiking, boating, travelling, and emergencies. The 2-stage water filtration process includes:
Stage 1: The 0.2-micron microfilter with a hollow fibre membrane removes 99.9999% of bacteria (E. coli) and removes 99.999% (log 5) of parasites (Giardia, Cryptosporidium, etc.), and 99.999% (log 5) of microplastics. This replacement filter will filter up to 4000 litres.
Stage 2: The activated carbon capsule filter is used to reduce chlorine, bad taste, and odour, as well as reduce organic chemical matter. These replacement capsules will filter up to 100 litres and should be replaced every 3 months.
