Though named after a short and pointed Roman fixed blade knife, Extrema Ratio's own PUGIO sports a cuttlebone-shaped hilt reminiscent of the longer Caucasian knives. It is a self-defence backup weapon excellently suited for concealed carry. The blade is hollow ground and this tactical EDC knife includes an easy-locking BELT-CLIP hard sheath, adjustable for carrying the knife vertically, horizontally or obliquely (at a 45° angle). The Extrema Ratio Pugio is also available in the Pugio SE version with Partially Serrated Edge and in the Pugio DE Desert Warfare and specially suited to those who favour a reverse grip.
