Extrema ADRA Ordinanza 17 Stormo - 04.1000.0313/blk-or
The ADRA dagger, with a fixed double-edged blade, was designed by the command and operators of the 17th Wing. This classically European-style dagger, was meticulously crafted to meet the specific needs and high standards of the 17th Wing's command and operators. This knife features a robust blade made of high-quality steel (BÖHLER N690), with a partial serration on one side. It has a durable nylon handle and is burnished to military specifications.
The Arditi Distruttori of the Regia Aeronautica (ADRA), operating in North Africa during the Second World War, earned two silver medals for military valour. The ADRA Battalion carried out "complex" sabotage missions at enemy airfields using then-unknown guerrilla techniques. Today, the 17th Incursori Wing, a special unit of the Italian Air Force, honours the legacy of the ADRA Battalion. During the delivery of the war flag, the unit carries the true symbol of Arditism: the combat dagger. The ADRA ORDINANCE 17th Wing version includes the insignia of the 17th Stormo, an ankle and ceremonial sheath, and an engraved ABS case.
