Cold Steel Samburu Spear

Inspired by the warriors of East Africa, the Cold Steel Samburu Spear is a modern throwing spear built for speed, reach, and serious outdoor use. Made to Cold Steel’s tough standards, the Samburu Spear has a well-balanced traditional design and modern performance.

With an overall length of 2 metres, this spear delivers incredible reach if used for hunting or training. The double-edged, narrow, leaf-shaped 1055 carbon steel blade will pierce cleanly with minimal resistance. The shaft effortlessly breaks down into 3 sections for compact storage and transport. The first is the spearhead itself, permanently welded to a thick steel shaft. Second is the counter balancing butt spike also known as the shoe. This is used as an alternative point for practice throwing, preserving the actual spear blade itself for more serious work. Third is the black, hardwood handle with a double taper connecting the head and shoe. The Samburu spears come unassembled for ease of transportation. All you have to do is fit the blade and butt spike tightly to the handle and attach them with the provided retaining screws.
