Crafted from Nylon PA12 using additive manufacturing on an HP MJF 580, these scales are robust and feature low water absorption. While this material lacks the stiffness of the stock G10, the scales compensate with increased thickness for both durability and contouring. Nylon, a base material in Fiber Reinforced Nylon (FRN), shares similar durability without the fiber reinforcement, making it resistant to shattering but prone to scuffs or dents over prolonged heavy use.
