BEACHMASTER AUTOMATIC D-DAY 80TH LIMITED EDITION
Introducing the exclusive Beachmaster 80th limited edition watch, a rare and exceptional timepiece developed in collaboration with the Spirit of Normandy Trust (SONT). As the only British watch company to hold the prestigious Armed Forces Covenant Gold Award, Elliot Brown are proud to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of D-Day with this special edition watch.
The Beachmaster’s patented mission timer, a groundbreaking innovation inspired by D-Day, is a unique feature that sets this watch apart. This remarkable watch comes with an exquisite collection of memorabilia, including a special edition coin, a limited edition print by renowned military artist Indigo Zulu Ink, and a commemorative book featuring forewords from SONT Patron, Lord Dannatt, heartfelt vignettes from Veterans, and a special poem by SONT supporter Rob Aitchison.
The blue marker at 6 o'clock/30 minutes signifies the start of D-Day at 0630. Brushed bronze hands with vintage sand SuperLuminova and a dark brown leather strap evoke the era, while the deeply stamped and etched case back depicts the beaches and English Channel.
The inner mission timing bezel couldn't be simpler to operate. Imagine you’re nine hours out from mission start, simply rotate the split scale inner bezel via the upper crown and set it nine hours in advance of the GMT hand. The GMT hand will count around the bezel scale to H hour, mission start, then automatically begin it’s journey around the second half of the split inner bezel, counting up to a rendezvous say 11 hours after H hour, mission start
This GMT automatic watch features a ceramic 60-minute uni-directional diver's bezel and is powered by a high-grade Swiss Sellita SW330-2 Automatic movement with a 56-hour power reserve. The dial, divided into outer and inner sections by a metallic border, frames a textured inner dial inspired by the NATO symbol for amphibious assault. A double arrow GMT hand displays a second time zone via the inner 24-hour track and references the split inner 24-hour timing bezel for mission duties.
In low light, SuperLuminova glows blue for mission timing and green for regular time checks. The case back, precisely bolted down, enhances the effectiveness of the movement shock protection system, especially in high-pressure environments. The high-grip upper mission timing crown ensures precise operation, with spring-loaded ceramic ball bearings securing the bezel at the required mission start time.
Only 80 Beachmaster watches have been manufactured, making it a truly special and limited edition timepiece.
Experience the obsessive pursuit of detailed perfection with the Beachmaster Automatic D-Day 80th limited edition watch, where mechanical precision meets historical tribute.
